Cookie and Browser Storage Information
Cookies, saved browser preferences and downloaded files are different things. Here is how the supplied site features use your device.
What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask your browser to retain and return with later requests. Browser storage such as localStorage can retain information separately from cookies. Both can be used for useful preferences or for tracking, depending on what a site implements.
The supplied website code
The static pages and application script supplied with this website do not set cookies, write localStorage or sessionStorage, or include advertising and analytics trackers. The navigation state and scroll animations are held only in page memory. Reading the tutorials does not require signing in.
This description concerns the website’s supplied code. A hosting or security service may separately use delivery-related cookies or process request information. Browser extensions and external services may also behave independently. Any additional service introduced to the published site should be assessed and described before optional tracking is enabled.
Contact-message preparation
The contact tool assembles plain text locally without storing the fields in cookies or localStorage. Your browser may keep form values or offer autofill under its own settings. Reloading or leaving the page may remove the prepared message, so copy or download it if you want to keep it.
Clicking “Copy message” requests permission to write the prepared text to your clipboard where supported. Clicking “Download text” creates a plain-text file on your device. These are user-requested actions, not cookies. Clearing site cookies does not necessarily remove clipboard contents or downloaded files.
Managing data in your browser
Use your browser’s privacy or site settings to inspect and remove cookies and other stored site data. The controls and wording vary by browser and device. You can also manage autofill separately, clear clipboard contents through your device’s controls and delete downloaded text files from the location where you saved them.
Blocking optional cookies should not prevent access to the supplied tutorials or local message-preparation features. Disabling JavaScript removes the interactive message tool and mobile menu toggle, although navigation links remain available and you can email directly.
Consent and future changes
No optional tracking is activated by the supplied application code. If optional analytics, advertising or other storage-based services are added later, their purposes, providers and retention should be disclosed and any required consent obtained before activation. A choice about optional storage must not be treated as permission to send a contact message.
